Amber Inclusions from Myanmar – Windows into an Ancient World

Remarks:
Exceptionally shaped lacewing larva with extremely long mandibles and antennae exceeding the body length. The delicate body structure and exaggerated sensory appendages suggest a highly specialized form unlike other known lacewing larvae from Burmese amber. Its morphology indicates a unique predatory adaptation within the diverse Cretaceous forest fauna.
