Remarks:
Rhachyberothidae, commonly known as thorny lacewings, are a rare family within the lacewing lineage. They are notable for their spiny bodies and striking raptorial forelegs, which resemble the grasping limbs of mantises. These were used to snatch prey with speed and precision—an unusual trait among lacewings. Fossil discoveries from the Cretaceous period, particularly in Burmese amber, indicate that this group was once far more diverse than it is today.
