-
Collection Number:
KA38/CAB
-
Inclusion Size:
Five snail shells, 2.2–2.5 mm.
-
Amber Size:
25 x 20 x 7 mm
-
Age:
Around 100 million years (Cretaceous period)
-
Location:
Myanmar
Remarks:
An unusual group of five snail shells preserved together in the same piece of Kachin amber, including four distinctly spiral shells. Snail shells of this elongated spiral form are much less commonly encountered in Kachin amber than rounded forms, making the presence of four in a single piece particularly remarkable.
