Remarks:
The first known fossil record of Ideoroncidae comes from Cretaceous Kachin amber. This discovery also represents the oldest known record of the superfamily Neobisioidea. Modern Ideoroncidae are mainly found in tropical regions, often living in leaf litter and soil.
