Myanmar

Remarks:

At 8.1 mm, this woodlouse represents a comparatively large isopod for Cretaceous amber. Terrestrial isopods are moisture-dependent ground dwellers and function as decomposers of organic material. Complete specimens of this size are uncommon and provide important information about the composition of the forest-floor fauna preserved in Myanmar amber.
